Tim Wilkins is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC) as well as a Temporary Limited Licensed Psychologist (TLLP) practicing in Ann Arbor, MI. Tim has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Michigan and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University.
Tim is passionate about helping people identify and explore what is holding them back and desires to assist them on their journey toward achieving their goals. In therapy, Tim tailors his counseling style based on the client’s needs. Generally, Tim works from Existential, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Psychodynamic theoretical frameworks.
Tim believes it is important to focus on meaning in the context of one’s life, as well as how people are affected physically, emotionally, relationally, and spiritually by their struggles.
Tim is working under the supervision of a fully Licensed Psychologist and a Licensed Professional Counselor. Tim is also an adjunct faculty member at Jackson College where he teaches various psychology courses.
