Andrea Broadwater, MA LPC

We face challenges everyday, on an internal and external level. My hope is that by having a space to freely explore your values and identity, you can enhance your everyday life for yourself and others. So, whether you are just curious, or you need a space for healing or change, my office offers a welcoming and non-judgmental environment. I am grateful that I get to work with people’s intimate and vulnerable parts and hope to be able to help guide you through your challenges. I have a passion for working with adolescents and woman that want to establish their identity and have more compassion for themselves and others.

About Andrea:

Using primarily Mindfulness-based and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, my goal is separating behaviors from the individual to allow the self to become their best self by having a different perspective that reduces the burden that judgment places in our lives. I specialize in eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, shame-resilience, and identity.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 6 years of experience providing individualized counseling services to vast populations. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University, and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the City University of Seattle. I hope to help you take back your power and allow opportunities to accept yourself and speak your truth. I offer free 15 minute consultations because the search for the right provider can be daunting.
