Ashley would be grateful for the opportunity to work with you to explore these types of presenting questions, and she is particularly passionate about working with women during their pregnancies and postpartum period. When you are ready to take a step toward improved mental well-being, Ashley’s therapeutic style, focused on creating a safe and strength-focused space for individuals to be holistically heard and understood, is an ideal environment to process and grow. Ashley’s approach is most strongly influenced by attachment theory, cognitive-behavioral perspective, and mindfulness framework. Ashley believes the best therapy is collaborative and therefore welcomes ongoing feedback so she can adapt her approach to meet your individual strengths and needs.

About Ashley Magers
Ashley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW) who graduated with a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) in 2014 with a concentration on mental health and interpersonal practice. In addition to her professional experiences since 2014, Ashley brings four more years of previous experience with children and families after obtaining her undergraduate degree in psychology in 2009 (Taylor University-Upland, IN).
Ashley has worked with clients from early childhood to late adulthood with a wide range of presenting concerns, including addiction, anxiety, depression, perinatal anxiety, perinatal depression, relationship issues, and trauma in multiple settings, including home-based, inpatient treatment, and via telehealth.
Ashley is particularly passionate about working with women as they adjust to the demands of parenthood and has received specific training in perinatal mental health from Postpartum Support International & 2020Mom with plans to achieve Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMHC) by 2021.
