Ashley Safiedine, LLPC

Therapy with Ashley

Pronouns she/her/hers.

My goal as a therapist is to create a safe and inclusive environment where you, you and your partner(s), or you and your family will feel safe, comfortable, and supported while working to achieve your goals. I primarily integrate cognitive behavioral, acceptance commitment, and solution-focused techniques while working from an existential and trauma informed framework. If you are seeking therapy as an individual, you will learn to gain insight into the root of your symptoms and awareness into the way your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence one another. You will learn coping and mindfulness skills while starting to accept and embrace thoughts and feelings, rather than feeling guilty for having them. You will learn to live more confidently and authentically. Most importantly, you will learn that you already had what you needed inside of you all along. If you are seeking therapy as a couple or family, my goal is to facilitate an environment of empathy and understanding, reduce conflict, and create a better functioning home environment. You will learn new ways of relating to one another, how your behaviors are affecting one another, how to resolve conflict, and how to open lines of communication within the relationship or family system. Whether you’re coming into the office for individual, couples, or family therapy you can expect to learn a lot, laugh a lot, grow a lot, and maybe even have some fun along the way. It is important to note that couples come in all forms and may be same sex, different sex, or multiple partners; all of which are equally accepted and welcomed. It is also important to note that family does not necessarily mean blood relatives, but rather anyone who plays a long-term supportive role in your life.

Ashley works at our West Ann Arbor location.
