About Margo Swann

I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of mental health concerns. I have both a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Master of Social Work from Case Western Reserve University. During my graduate studies, I also obtained a trauma- informed practice certificate while specializing in adult mental health. I have 4 years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents in inpatient psychiatry, as well as outpatient experience working specifically with LGBTQ+ and adult populations.

I choose to counsel clients from a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and holistic lens. I am passionate about using a cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapeutic frameworks to help folx learn to manage their emotions and regain a sense of self-worth. Having eight years of experience as a nurse’s aide, I emphasize compassion and listening during my sessions in a warm, judgement-free zone. I offer both online and in-person sessions.
