Kalie Luckett is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC) with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Michigan University. Kalie’s approach is rooted in a person-centered perspective, grounded in empathy, authenticity, and collaboration. She believes that each person has the capacity for growth and healing when given the space to be truly heard and understood.
Kalie works with individuals, couples, children/teens, and families navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, fertility and reproductive concerns, and identity exploration. She also has a passion for working with women’s issues and the LGBTQIA+ community. Her goal is to support clients in discovering what wholeness looks like for them — and to help them build a life that aligns with their deepest values and sense of self.
Kalie's Approach to Counseling
I view therapy as a space for self-discovery — a place where you can share your life experiences, clarify what matters most, and live in alignment with your values. My role is to walk alongside you as you explore your values, experiences, and goals — helping you build awareness and find the path that feels most authentic to you. I aim to create a warm, nonjudgmental space in my counseling dynamics with clients.
I view growth and healing as deeply personal processes that unfold through curiosity, compassion, and connection. Whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, fertility and reproductive concerns, or identity exploration, I’m here to help you find clarity and work towards balance. My approach emphasizes empathy as well as self-discovery and helping clients reconnect with their sense of agency.
About Kalie Luckett
I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Michigan University (EMU). My work is grounded in person-centered, trauma-informed, and emotion-focused approaches. I adapt each session to fit the unique needs of the person or couple I’m working with and often integrate elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Choice Theory.
I am passionate about working with couples, families, and individuals exploring relationship patterns, fertility and reproductive health, women’s issues, LGBTQIA+ identity issues, sex/sexuality, and life transitions. I also value helping clients navigate experiences such as self-esteem challenges, anxiety/depression, and emotional disconnection.
Before becoming a counselor, I gained meaningful experience working with students and couples at various internship sites, which reinforced my belief that healing looks different for everyone. Those early experiences deepened my commitment to offering therapy that is flexible as well as compassionate and deeply human.
I believe that meaningful change happens when we feel safe enough to explore who we are and what we truly want. My hope is to help you uncover that clarity and create a life that feels balanced and aligned with your values.
