Counseling with Tyler VanEvery, LPC
I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, genuine, and practical. My goal is to create a space where clients feel comfortable being honest about what they are experiencing while also helping them develop the tools and insight needed to create meaningful change. I enjoy getting to know each client as an individual and working together to understand the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be keeping them stuck.
I work with clients across the lifespan and have experience supporting people through a wide range of personal, emotional, and life challenges. My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Existential therapy. I believe therapy should help people not only feel better, but also better understand themselves and move toward the kind of life they want to live.
